The Call of Joseph

A Father’s Day Message, June 16, 2024. I invite you to consider the profound mystery of Joseph, the non-biological father of our Savior Jesus Christ. Just like Mary, the mother of Jesus, Joseph has been an enigma to me. He, like Mary, was chosen by God to raise Jesus under the Law of Moses. He is a figure shrouded in faith and mystery. As we explore his story today, let us see Joseph as a father that the LORD God selected to raise in the nurture and admonition of His Only Begotten Son.
