Yesterday, the president met with the news agencies in the White House Rose Garden and said, “The modeling estimates that the peak in death rate is likely to hit in two weeks. In case you missed that. The peak, the highest point of death rates, remember this, is likely to hit in two weeks… Therefore, Lakeview will be extending our guidelines to April 30, to slow the spread.”
Therefore, Lakeview will continue to adhere to federal, state and local guidelines concerning “gatherings” through the end of April and stream our Sunday morning service on Facebook.
Members, some of our Bible classes are also being delivered online at 9:30 am using Zoom. Please login to Realm for more details. The Tuesday morning “Men’s Prayer Meeting” will also be through Zoom at 6:00 am. Men, this is a great time to meet with other men to share our prayer requests and pray for each other. Please login to Realm for details on how to connect. We will also continue our church wide prayer meeting over Zoom on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm. Please login to Realm for details.
This event is significant. Unprecedented in our lifetime. None of us have “been here before.”
With that said, now more than ever, LBC must show ourselves to the community. You may be the only “Gospel” that Temple/Belton will see in the next month. Reach out by calling, texting, email and letter to members of LBC and your neighbors and co-workers.
“Stay home. Stay safe” is now the norm in our lives. Please stay safe when venturing out to the local stores. And when you do, be cognizant that the workers you are in contact with need our love and care. This is a great time to ask “Is there anything I can pray for you about?” People are anxious. Be their CALM.
PRAY…PRAY…PRAY!!!
Lakeview wants to send a big THANK YOU to those that continue to send in offerings during these uncertain times.
